We believe that exposure to fine arts helps a student's overall ability to succeed in school.

Radford offers students many opportunities to explore and improve their creative skills through classes such as art, band, piano & theater. These programs allow students to encourage and explore their artistic sides and shine!

Every student at Radford, from Pre-K to 12th grade has the opportunity to take art classes. The classes start on basics for the elementary students and become more complex, moving into form and design as the students get older. They do more than just paint, students also work with wood, glass, clay and metal and learn how to use special tools to create masterpieces.

The Radford Band was established in 2011. It began with 32 students from 5th to 12th grade. The band program has grown to over 75 students.
