Pre-K and Kindergarten

Full-day pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs are built upon the philosophy that children learn by doing. A normal day is full of varied activities and directed toward stimulating and challenging active young minds through participation in learning centers, including a computer center, that introduces concepts and promote interaction.
 

Parents of Radford students are encouraged to participate in their children’s education through the Radford Parent-Teacher Organization (RPTO) and a variety of volunteer opportunities . Parent involvement has proven to increase the odds for student success. To help foster a strong and positive relationship between the school and each child’s home, the RPTO endeavors to build a healthy cooperation between parents and teachers in the education of Radford students.
