| The High School's rigorous and rewarding academic curriculum,
together with a supportive and vigorous guidance program, prepare students
for college by providing the highest quality preparation for the most
demanding colleges and universities, and by fostering excellence in discipline
and independent thinking. The guidance program acculturates students
to college admissions and college counseling processes, beginning in
the freshmen academic year and continuing developmentally through the
senior year. Admission representatives from colleges and universities
are regular visitors of our campus, and Radford students consistently
gain admission to the nation's most selective institutions of higher
education, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Princeton, Boston, Vanderbilt,
the University of Chicago, Baylor and William and Mary to name a few.

Parents of Radford students are encouraged to participate in their children’s
education through the Radford Parent-Teacher Organization (RPTO) and a variety
of volunteer opportunities . Parent involvement has proven to increase the odds
for student success. To help foster a strong and positive relationship between
the school and each child’s home, the RPTO endeavors to build a healthy
cooperation between parents and teachers in the education of Radford students.
